The economic consequences of a pandemic such as covid 19.

The economic consequences of a pandemic such as

Covid 19.

What the economic consequences of Covid 19 are.

The pandemic of Covid 19 turned into a long boring lockdown.  Lots of whanau were bored and unsure of what was going to happen next.  A Lot of people were thinking that New Zealand was going to stay in level four for a long time.

The loss of money.

Lots of whanau lost their money during the covid 19 lockdown because most businesses shut down so no one caught covid.  It was against the rules to open anything in the lockdown like Cafes, Bars, the Warehouse, Mac Donalds, KFC, Burger King and all those places.

Most of these places reopened at level two but some of them just shut down for ever and they are not opening back up like Burger King  for  example, they shut down but never opened again.

Jacinda Adern.

A Lot of people were annoyed because Jacinda Ardern shut down the borders to keep New Zealand safe. But she thought fast and locked us down very safely.

And now you can see why Jacinda adern shut down the boarders and how lots of whanau lost lots of money and also the pandemic of covid 19.

Why flooding causes destruction

 WHY FLOODING CAUSES DESTRUCTION

Flooding is creating destruction to the land, houses, roads and even making potholes and making roads close down because they are flooded. All the flooding is destroying the beautiful land we live on and need.  Floods are destroying our roads and this will mean we will have no roads to drive on.

What flooding is caused by

Flooding is caused by global warming and also

global warming is causing storms so these storms are over flooding the seas and rivers which makes the roads and land flooded. It causes destruction to the roads and houses and also the land.

How we can solve this problem

We could stop global warming by stopping putting harmful gases into the environment.  Like if you need to go for a short distance drive walk instead and this means you are not putting harmful chemicals, gases into the environment.

If we stop using these harmful gases it could be a life changing event.  All the flooding and destructoin and also breaking land, road will hopefully be no more.

In conclusion.

Global warming is causing flooding.  Also causing land, houses, roads, towers and a lot more items to break.

So if we do not stop this soon it could break everything we need and all our resources will be gone and then we will not know what to do.  So we need to think before we do anything and stop putting harmful gases into the environment.

Matariki

v

My math's fractions

Why screen time is bad for us.

Why screen time is bad for us

Why screens are bad for us and why we shouldn't use them because they
could end up wrecking your eyes and you really need your eyes.

Screens are bad for us because they can wreck your eye vision and could
make a lot of things blurry and that can cause you to be color blind or just
normal blind or it could just wreck your eyes.
Also… these screens are most likely hypnotizing you because of all the
colors they are. So, what they do is when you watch it they will get your
eyes up close and the light of them is like staring into the sun but it's just
that you can actually handle them in your eyes but they are still very bright
and bad for you.

Eye diseases are caused by screens and can also give you a disease like a
bright disease.  This is a disease that is caused by staring and something
too bright like the sun, a bright screen, and bright color like yellow. This
could cause the same disease.

Also, you sometimes do need devices but other times they are not needed,
but devices can save your life sometimes.  Like whenever you’re hurt and
no one is home you can call 111 or search on google how to fix it.
Yet sometimes the screens can give you bad ideas like doing something
scary or even badder sometimes when you watch something about say
devils it can grab your attention and you can get bad ideas.

When your eyes are red that means you have had too much screen time
and you need to rest because your eyes are hurting. They need to close
and if you are having trouble to take your device away set an alarm for
when you need to go to bed, then when it rings put your phone far away
like in the lounge and in the morning if you have an alarm you have to
wake up and walk to get it to lock your door behind you just in case you
hope back in bed.

In conclusion, now you can see how too much screen time is bad for you
and your eyes and how you can help your eyes.

1918

The difference between ww1 and ww2.
About the difference between world war 1 and world war
2.
And when it started and how it ended. And how many
people died.

How many people died… World war 1
Around  8.5m people died from world war one within four
years, 13000 people joined ww1 to save everybody and
most of these people were European.

World war 2 ...
Around 75m people died in ww2 so there is one difference
. And 16 million joined ww2 and mast of them were Americans.

When world war 1 started ...It started in 1914. And
why
it started.WW1 began in 1914 after the assassination
of
France and it lasted till 1918 because Germany was
fighting against Britain and didn’t want to stop.
Germany
also was fitting against Japan, the USA, and Russia.

When ww2 started… It started in On September
1, 1939, Hitler invaded Poland from the west; two
days
later, France and Britain declared war on Germany,
beginning World War II. On September 17, Soviet
troops invaded Poland from the east.

More information on ww1…
Before World War II began in 1939, World War I was
called the Great War, the World War, or the War to End
all Wars. 135 countries took part in
World War I and more than 15 million people died. ...
World War 1 was a military lasting from 1914 to 1918
which involved nearly all the biggest powers of the world.
More info on ww2 ...
World War II, also called the Second World War, a
the conflict that involved every part of the world during the
years 1939 or 1945. The principals were to  Axis powers
of Germany, Italy, and Japan—and France, Great Britain,
the United States, and China.
In Conclusion
And now you can see the difference between ww1 and
ww2 and how many people joined them and how it started.

How trench warfare worked in world war one.

How trench warfare worked in World War 1

What is trench warfare?
Trench warfare is a type of land war. It was used to protect the World War 1 soldiers from
machine guns and artillery attacks from the air. They dug trench’s overnight until they
got to a certain depth where they could be more protected.

How did trench warfare develop in World War 1?
The trenches were important because they were used to protect soldiers from air attacks
and machine guns. Due to the trenches defending the opposing side's soldiers, the
countries had to advance in their military technology so that they could provide the
soldiers with more protection.

How it affected people.

Trench warfare had a massive impact on soldiers as it caused huge amounts of injuries
and some were even killed on the battlefield. It also caused health problems on the
battlefield. Heavy rains flooded trenches making them muddy, clogged up weapons and
making it hard to move in battle. This caused soldiers to get an infection known as
Trench Foot. It made it harder for more nurses to treat the soldiers because up to 10
a hundred soldiers went in and out of the hospital every day.

What is trench foot?
Trench foot, or foot syndrome, is a serious condition that results from your feet being
wet for too long.
The condition first became known during World War 1. When soldiers got trench foot
from fighting in cold, wet conditions in the cold and their boots were too wet so they got
trench foot.

In conclusion, trench warfare was used for many things and is still used today for water
pipes and animal traps. Trenches were bad when winter arrived it was cold and they got
sick and some ended up getting their feet and legs chopped off.
